Pathogen Solutions is a company dedicated to the removal airborne pathogens through the use of UV Light. Indoor Air Quality has historically been neglected compared with outdoors, where the restricted use of smoke free fuels and lead free fuel have led to major improvements. Continued progress in healthcare through the reduction in smoking has added significantly to improved public health. The elimination of airborne viruses and bacteria from our hospitals, homes and offices will add a further dimension to healthy living; removing microorganisms and contamination from poorly ventilated environments and bringing “fresh air indoors”.
Our primary focus has been applying the science of UV light to the area of Health Care Associated Infection. However, recent events with respect to SARS and pandemic influenza have broadened the scope and application of our technology.
Pathogen Solutions have developed and marketed two UVGI air sterilisers www.medixair.com for use against all airborne bcateria and viruses.
This website is dedicated to providing science and technology support to these products
The key to good air quality is a space that is well ventilated with plenty of fresh air. Clearly, this is not always possible and poor ventilation will create threats to health. In this context, it is important to be aware of potential areas that can cause poor air quality:
- Over heated rooms
- Crowded spaces
- Closed windows
- Poorly maintained HVAC ducting
- Sources of infection
Included in this site are key research abstracts which will provide scientific background reading with respect to improving air quality be it within healthcare, service industries, the home or the workplace in general.
Pathogen Solutions Limited have developed two products to combat airborne pathogens available through our distributors or direct from Pathogen Solutions Limited.
Support information including downloads and useful web links are available on this site for registered distributors.
